A very simple recipe. Next time I’ll add some green peppers and carrots to give it some vegetables.
It serves about 6.
1 lb lean ground beef
3 ½ cups spaghetti sauce
½ cup water
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp dried basil
40 frozen cheese ravioli
2 cups mozzarella cheese
1 green pepper chopped **
3 carrots chopped **
Preheat oven to 425
Brown ground beef
Mix spaghetti sauce with water to make 4 cups
Spread 1 cup of sauce over bottom of baking dish
Lay 20 ravioli, puffy side down, in sauce, cover with ½ cooked beef, and sprinkle 1 cup mozzarella over the beef.
Cover with 1 ¼ cup sauce, the remaining beef (and veggies if adding) and then the remaining ravioli. Top with the remaining sauce make sure it covers ravioli.
Coat aluminum foil with spray. Cover tightly and bake 35 minutes.
Uncover and sprinkle with remaining 1 cup mozzarella.
Bake uncovered for 5 minutes.
