Healthy Homemade Granola Bars

Granola BarsSource: Super Baby Food by Ruth Yaron

Loved these, and so simple to make! I added a TBSP of ground flax seed.

1.5 cups rolled oats
1/4 cup wheat germ
1/4 cup ground nuts (I used almonds)
1/4 cup nonfat dry milk
1/2  cup dried fruit
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 beaten egg
1/4 cup melted butter or oil
5 tablespoons of honey (I oiled spoon first and honey slid off)
1/4 tsp vanilla

Mix all dry ingredients.
Mix wet ingredients and add to dry ingredients.
Add more honey to moisten or dried oats to dry if necessary.
Press into 8 x 8 baking pan. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes, cool, and cut into bars.
